Mr. Marc Réveillon, Economist, (º1957)
- His main expertise covers health sector financing and provider payment mechanisms, international funding mechanisms, public-private partnership, organisation, management and evaluation of health services and health systems.
- Over the past 20 years, Marc Réveillon has worked as a senior adviser to many development agencies, governments and private institutions, both in low, middle-income and industrialised countries.
- Marc Réveillon is involved in the SWAP process in Cameroon, and in the development of public-private partnership in the pharmaceutical sector (Tanzania, Rwanda and Senegal).
- Since 1990 Marc Réveillon is a Visiting Professor at the Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve/Belgium (FOPES Department - Financial Management) and Lecturer (Health Sector Financing, Health Economics) at the School of Public Health of the Université Libre de Bruxelles as part of its 'International Management Course'.
- From 1989 till 2000 Marc Réveillon was the founder and CEO of ALTSYS Ltd: development and implementation in Europe (Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, England and Spain) of SCM (Supply Chain Management), SFA (Sales Force Automation) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) computerised systems.
- Marc Réveillon joined HERA in 1994.
- His Africa experience is mainly focused on Francophone and Anglophone countries: Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, DRC, Guinea-Conakry, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Morocco, Rwanda, Tanzania, and more recently Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso (and CAR, Madagascar and Zambia during the 90s).
- His Middle East and Central Asia experience covers: Egypt, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Syria, Armenia, Tajikistan (and Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan during the 90s).
- Other experiences cover the Caribbean and South Asia (Burma/Myanmar and Bhutan), and EU countries.
