Dr. Campbell Katito, medical doctor, MSc in public health.

Health Systems Development Consultant. Expert in Health Sector Reforms, Decentralisation of Health Services, Team Building at Central, Intermediate and District levels, Health Policy Development, Strategic Planning, Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) development, operational planning and budgeting for health services, organisation of Public Health Programmes and Health Partners co-ordination.

Consultancies undertaken by Campbell Katito include strengthening the management of district health services, quality of health care, development of Regional Health Management Teams, setting up Decentralisation Unit, development of the Global Fund (GFATM) Health Systems component of the successful Round 5 proposal for Lesotho, development of the health component of the Millennium Challenge Corporation proposal for Lesotho.

Previously Campbell Katito worked as a District Medical Officer, Public Health Specialist responsible for Epidemiology and Disease Control, Provincial Medical Director, Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine at the University of Zimbabwe, long-term Technical Advisor to Regional Health Management Teams in Namibia, long-term Technical Advisor to set up a Decentralisation Unit in Namibia and currently long-term Operations Manager for the World Bank responsible for Health Sector Reforms in Lesotho.

His field of experience is mainly focussed on the Southern African region and includes Zimbabwe, Namibia, South Africa and Lesotho.
